I had no problem. It is smaller and more compact than the one that came with the laptop. Runs cooler.

Since my laptop battery is weak, I totally rely on the external power cord. My old laptop power cord was broken and arcing at the wire that routes into the adapter box. Ordered a replacement Lenovo adapter which came complete with the adapter and more heavy duty wires than my original one. The connector end that plugs into a wall outlet is 3 prong instead of my old 2, the PC end is heavier and more durable too. No complaints.
